Fri 13th Jan live music at le Pub Gambetta, Eymet we're starting off our new musical season with a jolly trio who have offered to throw on an informal sort of improvised session, a trio partly already familiar to pubgoers; my good friends François Trolliet and Jean-Christophe Lacage (the latter last seen accompanying yours truly on the drums!) with a new bassist yet to be initiated...

Sat14th Jan. Quiz and curry night at the Salle Polyvalente in Puysserampion organised by the Association Amitié-Loisirs. Teams of four, questions in French and English, prizes for the winners and consolation prizes for all. Quiz starts at 7pm with curry from Get Curry’D Away at 9pm. Bar open all evening. Entrance: 2 euros per person for the quiz, 10 euros per person for chicken or vegetable curry, rice, vegetable samosa, naan bread and chutneys, dessert and wine.
